Litigation & Appeals

Experienced Oregon Trial Lawyers

When you are in a dispute and all other attempts at resolution have failed, litigation may be your only remaining option. At times like these, it is important to have representation from an experienced attorney who is willing to fight to protect your interests. At the law firm of Evashevski, Elliott, Cihak & Hediger, P.C., we represent clients in a wide variety of litigation and appeals.

For more than 25 years, our Albany and Corvallis litigation attorneys have been helping people throughout the Willamette Valley to resolve disputes in the areas of business law, real estate law, agriculture, family law and many others. We have attorneys who are licensed to practice in all of Oregon's state and federal courts. We also help clients in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Oregon Appeal Attorneys

The appeals process is very complex, and there are specific deadlines that need to be met in order to preserve your right to appeal. The first is filing your notice of appeal. We will file the notice for you and make sure that all deadlines are met in order to preserve your rights. In an appeal, it must be shown that some sort of error contributed to the negative result in your case.

When you hire our firm, we will review the transcript, find any errors and prepare the most compelling possible brief to support your position. Many people don't realize that a large percentage of appeals are decided solely on the strength of the appellate brief. The opportunity to make an oral argument in an appeal is not automatic. We always request an oral argument so we can present the strongest possible case on your behalf.

We represent clients in all types of litigation and appeals, including:
